Lambert’s Landscapes
Privacy policy
Plain English. What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Lambert’s Landscapes is a sole-trader landscaping firm based in Kent, working across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South London. We are the data controller for the personal information you share with us through this website.
Contact for data matters:
Sam Lambert · info@lambertslandscapes.co.uk · 01732 905 968
What we collect
We collect personal data in two places on this website:
- The enquiry funnel— your name, email, phone number, postcode (optional), the service you’re interested in, project size, timeline, any photos you choose to share and any notes you add.
- The planning-guide download — your name and email address.
- Booking a site visit (if you use the calendar step) — your name, email, and the appointment time you choose.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers. We do not set marketing cookies.
Why we collect it
- Enquiry funnel: to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange a site visit.
- Planning guide:to send you the guide, and follow up once with a short personal note from Sam to ask whether you’d like to talk anything through. After that we will not contact you again unless you ask us to.
- Site visit booking: to confirm your appointment and put it in our calendar.
Our lawful basis is your consent (you actively send us your details) and our legitimate interest in responding to a sales enquiry you have made.
Who we share it with
Three third parties are involved in handling your data:
- Web3Forms processes our form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Their privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
- Cal.com handles the calendar booking step (if you use it). Their privacy policy is at cal.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Google may log the IP address that requests the font files; no personal data of yours is sent.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any other third party.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Records of any work we go on to do for you are kept longer for legal and accounting reasons.
- Planning-guide leads: kept for 24 months, then deleted. If you ask us to delete sooner, we will.
- Booking data is held in Cal.com under the retention terms in their policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you
- Send you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Withdraw your consent at any time (where consent is the basis)
Email or call us using the details above and we will action your request within one calendar month.
If you are unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d much rather you spoke to us first.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we will date the change below. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for one month.
